The Light Around Darkness
Darkness has a way of blinding what God is trying to reveal. Help, healing, love, and direction may be all around you, but when you are surrounded by darkness it's difficult to see clearly. That is why we must seek God's light, because His light exposes truth, brings clarity, and helps us recognize what was there all along. It is mind blowing how words can take on an entirely different meaning once your mindset shifts. Things you once overlooked suddenly stand out. Conversations, memories, advice, warnings, and even scriptures can feel brand new because you are seeing them through healed eyes, greater awareness, and a different level of understanding. Sometimes the words never changed, you did. Darkness can become comfortable. It allows denial, avoidance, hidden motives, unhealthy patterns, and distorted thinking to remain unchallenged.
