Love Is A Seed

Love is a seed that, when planted in good soil, grows and sustains. God first loved us by giving, and in doing so He set the standard for how we are meant to love and to be loved. His love is patient, steady, and life-giving — never forced and never harmful. What God blesses does not come with sorrow attached. His love brings peace, not confusion; rest, not fear. Allowing God to renew our hearts so that He may dwell within us is an act of spiritual self-love. Slowing down, becoming still, and listening within is also an act of spiritual self-love. We cannot truly give love to others if we refuse to extend grace to ourselves. When we begin to care for our own hearts, we create the capacity to love others with gentleness and sincerity. Self-love, then, is not pride. It is preparation. It is tending the soil so that love can grow. Scripture:  Ezekiel 36:26  I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. 1 John 4:19  We love because He first loved us....

Trusting God’s Plan Over Our Own

Imagine, we've been trying to figure everything out on our own, while God already has a perfect plan for each and every one of us. We often find ourselves striving, worrying, and overthinking. We are reminded in Scripture to seek first the Kingdom, but what do we actually do? We create plans for every situation, every circumstance, every relationship.

We move from what we should do to what we think is best for us.

The world around us is filled with distractions—so many that they blur our focus and crowd our minds. Before we realize it, we’ve overlooked the very thing God has been trying to show us all along. We become busy trying to control outcomes instead of surrendering to divine order.

And still, God remains patient. Still, His plan does not fail.

The truth is, peace comes when we stop striving and start trusting. When we quiet the noise. When we return to Him—not just with our words, but with our obedience, our focus, and our faith.

Matthew 6:33 King James Version (KJV):

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

We spend so much time trying to plan our lives, figure out every situation, and fix what we don’t understand. But God already has a plan. He already knows the way.

Still, we get distracted—by life, by pressure, by our own thoughts—and we drift toward what we think is best. But Jesus reminds us:

When we shift our focus back to God, clarity comes.
When we prioritize His presence, distractions lose their power.
When we trust His plan over our own, peace follows.

Today, choose alignment over anxiety.
Choose God’s way over your own understanding.
Choose focus over distraction.
