Truth, Distraction, and Returning to God

It feels like I’m working a full-time job just trying to escape distractions. And the truth is, there are so many of them. Everywhere you turn, something is competing for your attention — noise, opinions, entertainment, fear, confusion, comparison, pressure, and even spiritual distractions that look harmless on the surface. It can feel exhausting trying to stay focused, stay grounded, and stay connected to what God is revealing in this season. But I don’t believe all of this distraction is random. I believe much of it is by design. Because people are waking up. People are realizing the truth. People are beginning to see beyond what they were taught, beyond what they were told to accept, and beyond the systems and patterns that kept them bound. And once the truth fully clicks, there will be a major shift in dynamics. When truth enters a place that has been covered by lies, it changes everything. Truth is like light in darkness. It exposes what was hidden. It reveals what wa...

A Love Beyond Recognition

Because God loved us so deeply, He was willing to use people and circumstances to ensure His will was done. He wanted to save a rebellious and disobedient creation that often did not reverence or acknowledge Him. Yet in His mercy, grace, and unconditional love, He still made a way for us to be redeemed.

God has done so many things to show us His love, and yet we still tend to disregard Him daily. Even so, His mercy remains, His grace continues, and His love never fails. He continues to call us back to Him, not because we deserve it, but because He is faithful.

Although Resurrection Sunday has ended, let us not forget how deeply we are loved as a people and as God's special creation. Let us not forget how much was sacrificed so that we may have the opportunity to enter into the Kingdom of God, to be forgiven, redeemed, and saved. The resurrection is not just something to remember for one day, but a reminder every day of God's love, mercy, grace, and the price that was paid for us.

Because He has risen, we too have the power to overcome and rise above anything that was not meant for us. We are over-comers. We have power over the situations and circumstances that try to break us, discourage us, or bring us down. Through God, we have the authority to speak life, declare truth, and cancel every plan of the enemy. We are not defeated, forgotten, or powerless. We are strengthened by His Spirit, covered by His grace, and empowered to keep moving forward in faith.

Scripture:

Isaiah 53:5 — But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

1 Corinthians 15:57 — But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:37 — Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Affirmation:

I am deeply loved by God. I am forgiven, redeemed, and chosen. Because Jesus rose, I have the power to overcome every obstacle, break every chain, and rise above every challenge. I am not defeated. I am more than a conqueror through Christ. I have authority to speak life, walk in faith, and trust that God’s plan for me is greater than anything that comes against me.
