Choose Life: Dysfunction Can Be Healed

Image
Coming from extreme dysfunction your perspective can be somewhat warped (bent or twisted out of its true shape). Not because there is something wrong with you, but because dysfunction has a way of teaching you things that were never meant to be normal. You learn to survive in environments that require constant adaptation. Over time, those adaptations can begin to feel like your identity. You may mistake chaos for love. You may confuse hypervigilance with wisdom. You may believe that carrying everyone else's burdens is your responsibility. You may think your worth is tied to what you do rather than who you are. When dysfunction is all you've known, it becomes the lens through which you view yourself, others, and the world around you. But it doesn't have to stay that way. Marching On To Holistic Wellness

March is not just another page on the calendar.
It is an invitation to wellness.

An invitation to slow down.
An invitation to heal.
An invitation to let God walk with us into every area of our lives —

physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and practical.

We are not rushing into this month.
We are walking with intention.

This month we focus on wholeness, because healing happens when every part of life is cared for.

Holistic wellness matters.
And you matter.

Prayer

Father, we thank You for this new month of March.

As we walk with You into holistic wellness,
go before us and make every crooked path straight.

Guide our steps and order our decisions.
Protect us from seen and unseen dangers,
and from harmful intentions of others.

Guard our hearts, calm our minds,
and keep our thoughts steadfast on what is good and true.

Inspire us to grow, to heal, and to live with purpose.
Let our lives reflect Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your love.

May this month bring restoration to our bodies,
clarity to our minds,
and strength to our spirits —
all for Your glory.

Amen.

Scriptures

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

Lamentations 3:22–23 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

 Affirmations

I am walking into stability.
