Becoming - Time To Practice

There’s a sacred space between who you used to be and who you’re becoming. And if you’re walking through it, you know it’s not always easy. Old habits, mindsets, behaviors — they don’t just disappear because you’ve decided to grow. They show up again. Sometimes louder than ever. Not because you’re weak, but because they’re familiar. They’ve been your default settings for years. It’s so easy to fall back into what you’ve always done, or seems familiar. But change doesn’t happen by accident. Growth takes awareness and intention . And familiar is not always a good thing. When you stand firm in your new beliefs, when you remind yourself who you’re becoming — your new mindset becomes the force that breaks the old one. Holistic Wellness Matters (June)

Holistic wellness matters because it addresses the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — instead of treating just symptoms or isolated issues.

Here's why it's essential:

🌿 1. Promotes Balance

When we are aware and care for our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health collectively, we create harmony in our lives. One area out of balance can affect all the others.

🧠 2. Prevents Burnout and Breakdown

Ignoring emotional wounds or physical fatigue can lead to stress, sickness/illness, or emotional collapse. Holistic wellness helps us check in and course-correct early.

💖 3. Encourages Self-Awareness

It helps us ask ourselves deeper questions:

How am I really feeling?

What do I need right now—rest, connection, healing?

This kind of awareness leads to growth and transformation.

4. Supports Long-Term Healing

Rather than quick fixes that may lead to re-occurrence, holistic practices guide us toward sustainable healing — emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Do what works for you!!

🤝 5. Strengthens Purpose and Connection

Holistic wellness is our reminder, we’re not just surviving — we’re here to live with intention, connect with others, and grow into our purpose.

🙏 6. Honors Your Divine Design

You were created as a spirit, mind, body-whole being. Tending to every part of yourself honors how God created you and helps you walk fully in your calling/purpose.
