I share from my own healing journey—these posts are for me first, then for you. I’m simply walking in purpose and sharing what helps me grow, in hopes it may encourage you too. 🌱✨ For Those Struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Pain, or Loss Mental health struggles can feel isolating—but God is near to the brokenhearted. When we’re overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, or deep emotional pain, Scripture reminds us we’re not alone. His Word becomes a lifeline when our emotions try to drown us. Here are 5 powerful Bible verses to meditate on when you're hurting: 1. Psalm 34:18 (NIV) “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Reflect: When you feel like no one sees your pain, remember: God is near —not distant. He meets you right in the middle of your heartbreak. 2. Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. Isn't it strange the way we chase after the very things that keep us bound, whether it's relationship, friendship, a thing we enjoy, a place we like to go, etc. and we pretty much give a side eye to the things that could actually set us free. Almost as if we intentionally seek to re-wound ourselves, returning to pain because its what we know.
(It could be a old pain, a new pain, change the name or the place its still a pain.)
Deep within us, a thought arises that is strengthened by our choices and we begin to believe that maybe this is what we deserve, that recovery/wholeness or healing is for other people. Needless to say we tend to cling on to the hurt, wrap it around ourselves like that favorite blanket, and call it our own.

I do believe that is the work of the enemy, deception. The enemy will do anything to keep us trapped, manipulating people, and situations, he goes all out to keep us in bondage. It doesn't make sense, why would anyone in their right mind reject the Source of our healing, the One who offers peace, restoration, salvation, new life and more? What other reason is there for us to keep running back to the chains that enslaved us?

We must read the word to know the word so that it can be a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path, it builds faith and reminds us that we are worthy of the love, healing, and life God has promised and already prepared the way for you. Freedom requires courage, together we can uplift, encourage and support each other along the way, so we all make it.

Scripture:
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.Galatians 5:1

Affirmation:
Today, I choose to walk in the freedom God has given me.
