Whose Report Will You Believe?
There was a woman who became ill almost overnight. She went to medical professionals looking for help. Based on what they saw, they gave diagnoses and prescribed medication after medication. She asked questions they could not fully answer, yet she trusted what they told her and held onto false hope.
The medications did not seem to help, so she kept going back for new prescriptions. Over time, it became clear that even the doctors did not fully understand what was happening, but they continued to prescribe.
Eventually, she sought a more holistic approach. A natural doctor encouraged her to change her diet, care for her body differently, and take a more natural path. She listened. Slowly, things began to improve. Her body responded. Her mind became clearer. Her strength started to return.
But when the Word of God fed her starving soul, everything truly began to shift.
Strength was given.
Healing began to happen.
Joy returned.
Wisdom came.
Guidance followed.
Restoration started to unfold.
Doctors may have a report.
People may have opinions.
Fear may have something to say.
But whose report will you believe?
“I will believe the report of the Lord.”
The report of the Lord says:
You are not forgotten.
You are not hopeless.
You are not beyond healing.
You are not abandoned.
You are loved, seen, strengthened, and restored.
Hold onto His truth, even when everything around you says otherwise.
What we believe plays a huge part in our experience of life.
If we constantly believe that nothing will change, that we will always be stuck, broken, rejected, overlooked, or defeated, we often begin to live through that lens. Our thoughts shape our perspective, our perspective shapes our choices, and our choices shape much of what we experience.
This is why it is so important to guard our minds and pay attention to what we are feeding ourselves spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.
Belief can keep someone trapped in fear, hopelessness, shame, and limitation.
But belief can also open the door to healing, faith, wisdom, courage, joy, and new possibilities.
When we begin to believe that God is with us, that healing is possible, that we are worthy of love, that we have purpose, and that our story is not over, we start to move differently. We pray differently. We think differently. We respond differently.
What you believe matters.
Believe that there is still purpose for your life.
Believe that you can heal.
Believe that peace is possible.
Believe that you are worthy of good things.
Believe that God still has a plan for you.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2
