Pressed, Not Defeated

We just finished the Daniel Fast, and it seemed as though I was being pressed on every side. For a moment, I found myself becoming frustrated. Everything that mattered to me appeared to demand my attention all at once. The distractions felt relentless. Then something shifted. I believe it was something my nephew said that reminded me of Jesus' own experience. After fasting for forty days and forty nights, Satan came to tempt Him. The enemy didn't show up before the fast—he came afterward, attempting to weaken Jesus' resolve and redirect His focus. In that moment, I began to see my own situation differently. This wasn't simply a series of unfortunate events. Mental Health Awareness & Holistic Wellness Checklist

Holistic Wellness Matters
because it addresses the whole person — mind, body, and spirit

💖 3. Encourages Self-Awareness

It helps us ask deeper questions:

How am I really feeling?

What do I need right now—rest, connection, healing?

This kind of awareness leads to growth and transformation.

✨ 4. Supports Long-Term Healing

Rather than quick fixes, holistic practices guide us toward long lasting healing — emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

🤝 5. Strengthens Purpose and Connection

Holistic wellness reminds us we’re not just surviving — we’re here to live with intention, connect with others, and to grow in our purpose.
